This is an optional step, but it helps the plane keep its shape, which in turn helps it fly better. We like to use a glue stick, double sided tape, or glue tape inside the body of the plane (on either side of the center fold) to keep it together. Just make your folds as close to the lines as you reasonably can, and make sure they’re the same (symmetrical) on both sides of the plane. Depending on the thickness of your paper and how many folds you’ve made, it might “shift” the fold lines slightly.
